Have you ever looked at a book most people read in high school and thought “I should read that [again] now that I’m an adult”? If so, this is for you! Together with the Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum, we will revisit books we read (or should have read) in high school. Discuss the main themes with special community guests each month.

Limited copies of Of Mice and Men are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Grayslake Library.  Note: Event will be held at the Grayslake Heritage Center-164 Hawley Street, Grayslake. WALK-INS WELCOME.

Read Of Mice and Men, then join Patrick Green, English Teacher at Grayslake North, along with some current students to discuss the book!

Patrick Green, has a Master's in English Literature from Northeastern University and holds a certification in English as a Second Language. Patrick has been a teacher in Grayslake for 25 years where he has taught all levels and grades. He is proud to live in Grayslake with his wife, and where both of his children have attended public school.
