Join Judith as she presents GeoTalks on Yellowstone National Park. Yellowstone is the world’s first national park. Positioned atop a hot spot, Yellowstone experiences and displays multiple types of dazzling geothermal activity. We won’t miss Old Faithful, but we will also visit several other geysers, as the hot water and steam erupt from Earth’s interior. We’ll visit geothermal lakes and springs with their display of beautiful colors, watch the mud pots bubble, and appreciate Yellowstone Falls. Wildlife also captures our attention as we travel around this park, seeing bison, elk, and deer. The unique beautify of this UNESCO World Heritage Site is not to be missed.
