On behalf of the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education,  this engaging and immersive educational experience uses cutting-edge technology to engage both students and adults in stories of Holocaust survival. Based on the award-winning Museum exhibition, The Journey Back: A VR Experience is a global game-changer, revolutionizing the field of Holocaust memory through innovative technology and storytelling.

You will watch films that introduce the stories of Holocaust Survivors Fritzie Fritzshall (A Promise Kept) and George Brent (Don't Forget Me).  Through virtual reality, you will be transported to the places where they grew up and where they experienced the horrors of the Holocaust.  The stories have moments of compassion, inspiration, and profound sadness. Each film is 15 minutes.

This program is made possible through generous support of the Diana C. Hunter Mobile VR Trunk Program.
