Program Description

Event Details

It's spring, and the birds are back! They're on the hunt for the snuggest nests in town—maybe yours will be the next favorite hangout! Join us at the library for a building bonanza! We'll learn all about our feathered friends and what makes a home really fly (pun totally intended). Then, roll up your sleeves and get ready to create a birdhouse so incredible that even the pickiest birds will be lining up to move in! Don’t worry; we won’t tell them it’s just a box with a roof!

Why Build?

Building projects are appealing to both kids and parents because they foster creativity, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills. They allow children to create structures and use their imagination freely, while also promoting collaborative play. Whether working alone or with others, these projects encourage sharing ideas and teamwork, making them valuable for development and relationship building.
