National Library Week

Your Portal to Possibilities: National Library Week, April 6-12, 2025, is a celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities. 

Simply check out ANY physical material from the Grayslake Area Public Library during National Library Week and be entered into a drawing for a grand prize.  Looking for another chance to win?  Participate in our library-wide scavenger hunt to enter the many portals of GAP.  Upon completion, you will receive a second ticket to win a grand prize. Lastly, take a moment with our Portal to Memories: a unique doorway to cherished moments, allowing you to step into the shared experiences and stories of the library.
