Event Details

  • Beginning January 26, Family Take and Make Kits will be available via Curbside while supplies last, limit 1 per family.  CANNOT be reserved. 
  • Kit contains enough materials to make 6 Valentines. 
  • Valentines can be dropped off at the library in our outdoor bin where they will be quarantined per our protocol. Staff will drop off Valentines at the Lake County Veterans and Family Foundation, Midwest Veteran's Closet and Senior Center. 
  • Last day to drop off is February 12 at 4pm. 
  • Instructions indicate how materials are to be packaged.  You are also free to mail, ship or drop off their Valentines at The Midwest Veteran's Closet.  We encourage you to post your completed cards on social media and tag GAPL!

Upon registering for the program, a kit with the supplies needed will be created for you and you will be notified when it is ready for pick-up. Instructions will be made available on the program date.
