Event Details

The annual Tinker Bread Contest is back. Join us in the creativity this winter season by participating in the Grayslake Library's Tinker Bread Contest. Create a seasonal/holiday building using the special key items we list here and any other material you have, from cardboard to marshmallows.

Special key items: 

  • Tin Foil
  • Rubber bands 
  • Toilet paper roll
  • Any candy of your choice

 

Turn in your creation at the Youth Service desk from December 1st through the 23rd in one of the following age groups. 

Age Groups: 

  • Family-for kids 6 and under
  • Kid- age 7-12
  • Teen- 13-17
  • Adult - 18 and up

Winners will be announced of December 31st.
