Event Details

Get ready for a hoot of an exploration into the world of owls! You’ll have the chance to dissect real owl pellets and uncover what these fascinating birds have on their dinner menu. Put on your mini-scientist hat and get ready to examine bones and other surprising treasures—think of it as nature’s version of a mystery box! It's a fantastic way to learn about owls, their diets, and the wild wonders around us.

What is an Owl Pellet?

An owl pellet is a small, oval-shaped object that owls regurgitate, containing the indigestible parts of their prey, such as fur, bones, and feathers. It's like a bird's version of a hairball, but instead of hair, it's the hard parts of their meals.
